Things I missed

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

Starting my entry today with a quote of Mark Twain, I must say that I’m a type “doer”, who just take a step and do things without considering much. If I “feel” like I really like it, and “feel” like I can do it, I’ll do it. Now looking back, there’re many things that I’ve done, there’re successes and failures, but I’m proud of them both. Anyway, what I’m writing today is what I think I missed in the past few years, and these are the things that I always wanted to do. I’ll do these things, soon!
I have never gone on a camping trip or travel alone. That’s one thing that I always dream to do. Me, on my bike, or get on a train, go to anywhere it takes me, stay there for a day or two, then I’ll be back. That kind of trip may clear my mind, give me some strength, then I’ll be able to make good decisions again.
I will, soon, I’ll have a plan for this. 27/5. That’s it. I’ll go on 27/5.
I have never made myself a home site for my web designing business and my blog from scratch. I create many unique websites for my clients, but my own sites still use templates or common blog system, like this one.
I will, soon. Right when I finished these current contracts. It’ll be my one new contract, for myself, and I’ll be a tough client.
I have never collected anything for a very long time. When I was a kid, I collected coins, old bank notes, stamp, pictures, cards and many other things that I felt … collectable. The last collection of mine is blank discs, and it’s the only collection that left. Well this type of collection worth nothing and there’s too many type of blank discs in the world while about 90% of my discs are from China. I’m thinking of start collecting again.
I will, soon. Although I haven’t decided what to collect yet.
Ok, travelling, designing, collecting, you’re on my list. I’ll keep my mind on you ; )
